Temporary Inventory Warehouse Assistant

Position Overview:
Our client is one of the leading third-party logistic companies in New Zealand. We are seeking a Temporary Inventory Warehouse Assistant with a strong background in inventory management, counting, and warehousing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, and stock pickers, as well as picking orders and utilising computer systems.

Role Details:

• You MUST have a Counterbalance, Reach & Stock Picker Licence in order to be eligible for this position.
• Favona Location
• Mon - Fri 7:00AM - 3:30PM
• $26.00 p/h
• Weekly Pay
• Full PPE Gear provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately count and manage inventory.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and stock pickers safely and efficiently.
• Pick and prepare orders for shipment.
• Utilise computer systems for inventory tracking and order processing.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in inventory management and warehousing.
• Proficient in operating forklifts, reach trucks, and stock pickers.
• Strong order picking and counting skills.
• Computer literate with experience in inventory software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
