We have a new Distribution warehouse opening in Mangere that wants you.
Are you an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a highly organised and hands-on leader to oversee our new distribution warehouse in Mangere.
You will be joining a leader in their industry, with support from Head Office Operations in Christchurch. As this is a new Warehouse with the expansion into the Auckland market, you will have the opportunity to build your own team from scratch.
About the Role:
As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and safe operation of our warehouse. You will lead a team, manage inventory, optimise logistics, and ensure that all warehouse activities comply with company policies and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
• Lead and manage a team, providing training, guidance, and performance management.
• Ensure efficient inventory control, stock rotation, and accurate record-keeping.
• Implement and maintain health & safety protocols in line with industry standards.
• Work closely with suppliers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders to streamline logistics.
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems proactively.
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Forklift license (preferred but not essential).
