Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to fabricate and weld components.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metals, ensuring high-quality welds and precise fabrications.
- Operate fabrication machinery and tools, including lathes, grinders, and cutting equipment, to manufacture parts to specification.
- Assemble, fit, and weld metal components for both small and large-scale projects.
- Ensure all work meets industry standards for quality, safety, and compliance.
- Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
- Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator, with strong expertise in MIG and TIG welding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Experience in working with various metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, fabrication processes, and materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transport is preferred.
