The New Zealand division employs approximately 120 staff across multiple locations, including Hamilton and Mount Maunganui, with a strong focus on dairy equipment, hygiene, and animal health products. They are now seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join their high-performing team based in Hamilton.

The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a trade-qualified Welder / Fabricator with strong TIG/MIG welding experience, particularly in stainless steel. The role involves producing high-quality components for the dairy industry, working to precise standards, and contributing to a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG & MIG welding to a high standard, including purge welding on 1.5-2.0mm stainless steel
  • Fabricate stainless steel components to meet industry and company specifications
  • Operate a variety of workshop machinery and tools
  • Read and interpret technical drawings
  • Maintain quality and productivity standards within time requirements
  • Work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting

Experience and Requirements:

  • Relevant Trade Certificate in Welding or Fabrication
  • Minimum of 5 years' MIG/TIG welding experience (stainless steel essential)
  • Experience welding to dairy or food industry standards
  • Strong fabrication and machine operation skills
  • High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to support and train others as needed
