This medium sized contractor has a quality brand in the market completing projects in the $1M - $15M category across sectors such as health, fit out, commercial, warehousing, education and heritage. Their team operates efficiently and effectively, the culture is important to them and emphasis on team fit is regarded highly in the recruitment process.
As part of their planning on existing work and potential new project work coming through and identifying team strengths and experience level relative to projects, they have identified the need for a working site supervisor/site manager.
The focus is to work on smaller projects to commence within the $1M - $1.5M range managing the job on site using Procore but also as and when required getting on the tools. As the business looks to secure bigger jobs, you would move on to these jobs in a site management capacity.
As an applicant:
- You are carpentry trade qualified and have come up from working on the tools ideally on commercial and/or interiors jobs with at least 3- 5 years of experience
- You have strong hands-on carpentry skills
- You are well organised, a task master with a strong delivery focus, and have a good H&S record
- You can identify issues swiftly and possess sound communication across the board including subs and in any PCG Meetings,
- You have used Procore and are systems savvy
