  • Be responsible for administration needs to support a range of casework activity.
  • Assist with financial plans, including maintaining accurate records and reconciliation of workplace financial activities
  • Liaise with vendors, casual staff, and other key stakeholders including various cultural groups and backgrounds
  • Booking rooms, answering phones, and assisting on the reception desk
  • Effectively identify and escalate risks where appropriate and look for opportunities to improve operations.
  • Deal with critical scenarios in a calm, professional manner

To be successful in this highly rewarding role, you will bring; 

  • Full clean New Zealand drivers licence 
  • Strong computer and Microsoft skills
  • Effective organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Administration and coordination skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to your audience
  • Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture

Oranga Tamariki offer an impartial remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure. Annual remuneration for this position starts between $57,096 and $62,773 dependant on experience.
